Retro Console Repair & Mods
Blinking NES, N64 with no picture, PS2 that won’t read discs or a Game Boy screen you can barely see? We repair, restore and mod classic consoles and handhelds — from the Atari 2600 and NES to the PS3, Xbox 360 and 3DS — in-house at our Bossier City shop. Diagnostics are free, and if we can’t fix it, you don’t pay.
Independent repair shop. Not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, SEGA, Atari or any other manufacturer.
BITS PC & Wireless Repair repairs and restores retro game consoles at our Bossier City shop, a short drive from Shreveport. No shipping a fragile classic across the country — bring it in, and you talk to the technician who works on it.
Old consoles fail in predictable ways: NES pin connectors wear out and the power light blinks, capacitors leak, lasers in PS1, PS2, GameCube and Dreamcast consoles weaken, cartridge save batteries run dry, and Xbox 360 and PS3 boards suffer from years of heat. We repair them on our micro-soldering bench instead of writing them off.
We also work on retro handhelds — Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and SP, Nintendo DS and 3DS, PSP, PS Vita and Sega Game Gear — and upgrade them with bright IPS screens, rechargeable USB-C batteries, new shells and louder speakers. HDMI and RGB video mods give N64, GameCube, Dreamcast and other consoles a sharp picture on a modern TV.
Every repair starts with a free diagnosis and a price you approve. Visit us at 1701 Old Minden Rd, Suite 22, Bossier City, LA 71111 — walk-ins welcome Mon–Fri 9am–6pm, or call (318) 562-3090 to check parts for your system.
